We
have updated our computer and now have an
8-core MacPro (2 x 3 GHz Quad-Core processors). 16 gig of ram. 2.25 TB of internal drives running OSX Leopard 10.5.6. Digital Performer v6.02 with tc Powercore and SSL Duende.
Our system is fully compatible with pro-tools files, however, our Lynx/ PrismSound combination is a stunning improvement in sound quality over the standard Protocols HD3 system.We now have a Mackie Control Surface to give a "hands on " feel when working with digital mixes and some great new Sonalksis plug-ins. As a result of this investment
this system is fully compatable with pro-tools files
and the sound quality is a stunning 96K 24 bit sample rate
for DVD Quality .We now have Audioease
altiverb for fantastic reverb and Vocalign for synchronising audio signals.We have also purchased
a set of Sennheiser Drum Mics , they are fantastic!We have updated our computer and now have an 8-core Mac pro with a massive 16 gig of RAM and 2.25 TB of internal Hard disk recording space. We recently purchased a matched pair of Neumann KM184's as overhead Drum Mics, they sound fantastic!

We have invested in Apogee Analogue/Digital converters( Industry Standard) and the sound is fantastic.Apogee A/D D/A converters are used for monitoring all digital sound sources within the Studio , including mixdown , remixing and mastering .
We
can offer up to 24 track digital Location Recording.
The recording is then mixed and mastered at Gighouse
for superb results.
